How to Make Spiced Snapper with Moroccan Flavors
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Step 2: Prepare the Fish
Pat the snapper fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush them lightly with coconut oil and season with black pepper.
Step 3: Make the Spice Marinade
In a small bowl, mix the cumin, coriander, cardamom, cinnamon, garlic, coriander leaves, parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice to form a fragrant, loose paste.
Step 4: Marinate & Bake
Arrange the fish fillets in a single layer in a baking dish. Spread the spice mixture evenly over the top of each fillet. Cover the dish with foil to seal in moisture.
Step 5: Cook to Perfection
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to overcook—perfectly cooked snapper is moist and tender.
