Naturopath Mental Health Melbourne – Love Over Fear

There are really only 2 choices for every decision we make. We can do them out of love or out of fear.

When I came across this concept it was such an ahha moment for me.

When you really start to take notice of the emotion behind what is driving the choices in life it is really empowering.

Here is a simple quiz to rate how you have been going. Naturopath Mental Health Melbourne

Which do you choose? Love or fear?

Naturopath Mental Health Melbourne  – Love is kindness, giving, mercy, compassion, peace, joy, acceptance, non-judgement, connection, intimacy.

Fear, on the other hand, fear is expressed as anger, abuse, anxiety, depression, disease, pain, greed, addiction, selfishness, obsession, corruption, hypocrisy, judgement, criticism, hatred, violence and war.

Rather than trying to get rid of the darkness, we work on how to bring in the light…

Love is the internal equivalent of oxygen to us. We need it to survive. Love can become clouded over or surrounded by mental mists, but it never goes away, it can never be destroyed.

The internal equivalent to oxygen, what we need in order to survive is love… Human relationships exist to produce love as surely as a lack of oxygen will kill us, so will a lack of love.” ~Marianne Williamson, Return to Love: A Reflection on A Course in Miracles

A miracle is really just a shift in perception, a shift from fear to love. The experience of love is a choice. To let go, to just love, is to shine. We are meant to shine. We are all meant to shine.

Our ego bases its perception of reality on what has happened in the past, carries those perceptions into the present and from that creates a future like the past. That perception becomes a core belief and we recreate its conditions in the future. Our internal state determines our experience of life; our experiences don’t determine our internal state.

Everything we do is infused with the energy in which we do it – the energy of love or the energy of fear. Real transformation comes not from what we’re doing, but from the consciousness of which we’re doing it.
