Life Coaching Mornington Peninsula – 3 Ideas For Clearing Clutter & Transforming Your Life

Are you ready to live a life that you love?  Would you like to stop feeling stuck and procrastinating?

Perhaps find some space and clarity in your life? Find the courage to do something new?  Or perhaps to lose weight naturally?

Clearing out your clutter is a very simple, but powerful healing tool that you can use to heal and transform your life. So, how does this work?

Clearing clutter gets rid of the old stuff in your life and in the process, it creates new space in your life. This allows for new possibilities to flow naturally and easily into your life…

The common thought is that clutter is simply ‘old, stuck or stagnant energy.’ It blocks progress.

This idea so resonated with me and I have now become an avid de-clutterer!

The practice of decluttering gives you clarity.

Now clutter can be in finances, your wardrobe, time, your desk, work, taxes, old files, email inbox, paper clutter and so much more.

Your objective when decluttering is to simplify and surround yourself with things you love.
Do one room or one life area at a time – selling, donating or giving away everything that you longer love. How liberating! I feel lighter and more unburdened just thinking about it.

This act exemplifies letting go what no longer serves you so you are able to welcome what does.

Remember your inner game creates your outer life.

A curious mindset can uncover what created the mental or physical clutter that presides.
Is it avoidance, denial, overwhelm, indecision, laziness or fear of the future in some other form?

Ask yourself what clutters your life?
Now, why is this an issue in your life?
What habits and attitudes created it?
Can you get over it and clear it up?

What can create cluttered energy?
1. Your attitude to life – this can lead to clarity or chaos.
2. An unfulfilled life mission can create chaos.
3. Unfulfilled or unmet life desires – remember there is a choice in every moment.

Life Coaching Mornington Peninsula – You can change any or all of the above – you just need to decide & take action. This is your stand.

“A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.” – Tony Robbins

What stand are you going to make?

How to make a stand:
1. Pick 1 thing you stand for. Eg, to have my credit card debt cleared up
2. Get clear on your desires for this. Eg, So I can live a life I love with no pressure & an extra $2000 month going to my Freedom Fund.
3. Create an action plan to make this real in your everyday life. Eg, Take on extra work to make $2000 month extra.

Perhaps get rid of excess clothes, clean up work office, clean out house room by room, organise your financial life.

We can get “stuffed with stuff”. Are there years of backlogged energy surrounding and suffocating you?

So stuck you can’t move? Trade time with an amazing organiser (friend, professional) to get momentum?

Ask yourself:

What would it take to clear the chaos in my life?
What would it take for me to have more choices than I ever could expect?
What would it take for me to do what’s needed to create a chaos-free life?

Who do I have to become to clear the clutter from my life?

Getting started on clearing clutter.

As you begin to clear clutter, you need to make the distinction between different types of clutter. Use this article to help you to differentiate the 3 different types of clutter, so that you can get started today on releasing clutter from your life.

Distinguish between the 3 different types of clutter.

1. Dirty clutter:

This is the type of clutter that needs to be tidied or cleaned. This might be certain rooms in your house, tables, floors, benches, cupboards, carpets, clothes or the inside of your car. Look at areas like your refrigerator, your kitchen cupboards, your computer, your windows, your front door, your car or your garage.

2. Big piles of clutter:

This type of clutter is the “stuff” that accumulates and mounts up. It can happen anywhere but typically it might be letters on your desk, bills that have mounted up that need attention, piles of stuff behind doors, in corners, up in the attic, in high or low cupboards or in garages. This type of stuff accumulates over time. It might be rubbish that needs to be tidied up, taken to the tip, bills that need to be sorted out or papers that need to be filed.

3. Broken or old clutter:

Finally, there is stuff that is broken or stuff that you have simply outgrown. This “stuff” acts as clutter and takes up precious space in your life. Think of old clothes in your wardrobe or broken stuff that needs to be fixed. With this type of clutter make 3 piles: stuff to give away to charity, stuff to sell or stuff to be fixed.
